7.00am and surprise surprise yesterday it rained not a full on shower but enough to say that it had rained.we had planned a rest day and it was very welcomed simply not getting dressed up in all the motorcycle clothes. Munnar is just a world away from normallity sat here now there areat least three religious factions beating out their messages from speakers dotted around the town and have been so for at last the last hour. Its like being in a Indian version of disneyland with all the piped music.

Yeterday afternoon we hired 3 jeeps and had lunch at an old colonial plantation, followed by a trip to the Spice plantation and an elephant ride
